My name is Sajida Khalid, I’m Working as MIS in a reputed company of Pakistan. I am responsible for managing and maintaining an organization's database systems. My primary focus is on ensuring the security, accuracy, and reliability of the databases design, develop, and maintain software applications that meet the needs of the organization.  work with a team of developers, designers, and project managers to understand requirements, design the software, and implement it according to specifications.

One of my key duties is designing and implementing new databases, which involves analyzing the organization's data requirements and designing a database schema that can efficiently store and retrieve that data. I also work on optimizing the database structure, which includes indexing and partitioning, to ensure that queries run as efficiently as possible.

Another important aspect of my job is monitoring database performance, making necessary adjustments to improve performance troubleshooting and resolving database issues, which involves identifying the root cause of a problem and implementing a solution to fix it. In addition, I manage user access and permissions, ensuring that users have the appropriate level of access to the data they need while also protecting sensitive data from unauthorized access.

As a DBA, I work closely with other IT professionals, business leaders, and end-users to ensure that the databases are meeting their needs. I communicate regularly with these stakeholders, providing updates on database performance and working with them to identify new requirements and implement changes as necessary.

I am involved in the entire software development life cycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment. I work closely with other team members to ensure that the software meets the requirements and is delivered on time and within budget. I also provide support and maintenance for the software, ensuring that it is always up to date and functioning properly.

In summary, as a MIS, my focus is on managing and maintaining databases to ensure they are secure, reliable, and meet the needs of the organization and  designing, developing, and maintaining software applications . I have a strong understanding of programming languages, software engineering, and development methodologies  and understanding of database management systems and am proficient in SQL programming. I am highly organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
